1st Franklin District Constituents are invited to join Linda Dunlavy and Representative Blais on May 31st, from 4:00-5:30 at the Leverett Town Hall for an engaging conversation on transportation and infrastructure in the 1st Franklin district.
As Executive Director of Franklin Regional Council of Governments, Linda has worked for over 30 years in Franklin County on projects ranging from culvert replacement to local train service, and broadband installation. Representative Blais has worked throughout her career with Linda on many of the same projects and has been a member of the House committee on Transportation since her election in 2018.
We welcome your questions and thoughts about transportation and infrastructure at this town hall style conversation. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP at

Another well attended town meeting in the 1st Franklin District this morning in Heath! Thanks to everyone for making the time on this beautiful Saturday to participate in our local democratic process!
Despite initial forecasts for rain, it turned out to be a perfect day for the Tilton Library ground breaking! As library director Candace Bradbury-Carlin said, “Community building happens in a community building.”
So very thankful for everyone (and there are a lot of you!) who had a role to play in bringing this project to fruition.
Especially grateful to MBLC for your initial award and for working with the town, Senator Jo Comerford and me to secure an additional $472k when bids came in higher than expected.
Looking forward to walking through the doors of this amazing community center!
